Long, tall grass whipped around helplessly to a decently strong wind on this cloudy day. There was no rain to be found, only a lack of sunlight. Through the tall, tall mass of patchy green, a threateningly spiky red mass of hair poked out like a sore thumb, obviously belonging to something. It trailed its way in circles for a few moments, then Karth suddenly burst forth akwardly from the grassy death trap, stumbling around dizzily for a few moments as he tried to regain his composure of where he actually was. He then met his senses again, and eyed the bag slung over his shoulder. It was filled with fruit to supplement his nutritional diet he'd been undertaking for the past year or so now; junk food was of use only to a lazy warrior, and as such, Karth had been hunting ruthlessly for apples, berries, melon, and any other kind of fruit or healthy natural food he could find. He plopped down on the ground for a second in quiet contemplation, finally remembering the direction he'd taken away from the dojo. Taking a small stretch, he decided to spoil himself and pulled an apple from the sack before standing again and walking along.
It wouldn't be very long before he came across a large metallic structure. Overly curious, he walked up to the gates of the structure as he quietly but hungrily munched on his red apple, staring at the rusty gates. Was this some sort of prison camp? Maybe an old psych ward? He shrugged to himself, but quickly heard shouting and hid in some nearby brush underneath a tree. Peeking around the corner to see several armed soldiers with ''RR'' patches on their sleeves and vests, he watched them rappel down the side of the building, bouncing off the side of the structure like a trampoline. The obvious rookie of the group jumped too far away and hung helplessly by the waist, not making a sound. He pulled out a knife and cut himself free, plopping down to the ground face first. He stood dizzily and followed his comrades, who took aim at a quintuplet of strange figures blazing across the sky; auras of Red, Black, White, Green, and Blue dazzled the sky. Then, the soldiers opened fire on the squadrant of tight-wearing oddities. They sailed through the incoming fire expertly before landing and pummeling the soldiers.
''Go go go! Hurry, up the side, while they're preparing more men! Time to end this tyrannical beacon, X-Treme Krew!'' The blue one shouted. He must have been the leader of this ''Krew.'' Odd. Karth, now overly intrigued, stepped out. ''Wait!'' He called. ''What do you guys think you're doing here? What's going on?'' ''Move along, civillian. Nothing to see here. Wait, his hair is red. Do you think he's RR?'' Karth's face went blank, into an ''are you serious'' expression soon afterward. He perked an eyebrow. ''Your suit's red. Maybe you are.'' ''Hey! He's trying to use reverse psychology! He must be with them!'' ''No no no no! I'm a hero, like...err...you!'' He spoke, amused but puzzled. He stared at the two tight-clad men, their odd futuristic helmets giving Karth the impression they were from one of the cities and could use ki, considering they were flying. Uh oh. Pseudo-super hero squad. ''Blasphemy, Red Ribbon dog! X-Treme Krew, ASSEMMMMBLE!'' Karth's eyebrow perked higher than before. Were they kidding!?
Surely enough, the five of them flew in together and formed a goofy, nutty battle formation, complete with waving hands and glam poses.
''Sea Zero!''
''Platinum Viktor!''
''General Fyre!''

''Jayd Hurrikane!''
Standing, puzzled, Karth couldn't have been prepared for what came next.
''X!''

All five thrust their palms forward, resulting in a gigantic, five-color beam being blasted outward at Karth.
''XTREME!'' The group shouted in unison in celebration of their terrible attack.

Karth was too befuddled and dazed and confused by the odd troupe of crime fighters that he didn't realize that attack was coming until too late. He threw up his arms in a tight X to block what he could, and he struggled in place against the attack. His feet pushed through the dirt, leaving long trails of dirt in the sand. He slid across the landscape, struggling, until his back hit a rock wall. He felt some softer fruit squish in the bag, and with this distraction, the blast hit him, although weakened from the long struggle. The rock face exploded behind him, sending rocks flying into the air, along with an explosion of fruit from Karth's bag. The troupe of heroes laughed triumphantly, their attack a shockingly devastating success. Ivan took off into the air to check on the man they had just blasted, making sure they hadn't killed him. Peering through the falling rocks, he blinked. Did they obliterate him? His question would soon be answered.
From one of the falling rocks, Karth was gripped on, standing on top, riding the rough surface through the air through its descent. He neared Ivan, intent on revenge. ''SUUUUUR-'' Ivan looked up. ''PRISE!'' Karth threw his fist forward, smashing Ivan in the jaw, sending him into a wild mid-air spin. Kicking the rock out from under him, Karth used it to smash into Ivan before charging up a strong ki blast in his right hand. ''Sayonara!'' He hurled it like a baseball at the rock, causing a controlled explosion that propelled Ivan toward the ground. He slowed his fall to receive no real damage from it, and he planted his feet firmly on the ground. ''You have insulted me with your surpise attack, villain! Now you will face Ivan The Terrabulke in a one on one duel!'' He suddenly grasped a large mass of bandages from his back, throwing the heavy object to the ground with a ground-shaking clud.
Karth assumed the Monkey stance. He sized up by that weighted object that Ivan and all of his Terrabulky glory were derived from incredible strength. And where there was strength, there was a lack of speed. Monkey could capitalize his slow attacks and punish him for them. Right after he assumed the stance, Ivan launched forward with a heavy punch. Karth barely had time to leap to the side before a small cluster of rocks burst into the air from the force of the blow. Spinning to his side, He grasped Ivan's leg and tossed it up, sending him off balance, before leaping onto his chest and pummeling his face several times and leaping off. Before he could get up, Karth jumped on his shoulders, causing him to stagger around. He pounded on the back of his head before being gripped by the collar and thrown parallel to the ground.
Wasting no time, Ivan lurched down to the ground. ''Omegaaaaaaa....STOMP!'' He launched into the air, coming down to match Karth's trajectory. Planting his hands on the ground and springing out of the soaring motion, Karth leaped into the air with a revolving uppercut, blasting Ivan in the jaw and causing him to flip backward and fall to the earth. Wasting no time, Karth soared after him and followed him the whole way down. Releasing a torrent of quick punches, he pounded at Ivan's torso before using a much heavier one to smash him into the earth. Ivan groaned and stood to his feet. ''Time for my ultimate technique!'' He began charging at Karth, charging a large ball of black ki in his palm. It suddenly canceled. ''Just kidding!'' Terrible Crash!'' He ducked down low and smashed into Karth with his shoulder, carrying him in a mad dash that smashed him through several rocks. Karth wearily stood to his feet.
''You're using way too many tricks for your own good. Now try one of mine!'' He shouted. A silver aura encased his limbs as his muscles flooded with energy. ''Spirit Fist!'' He burst from the ground at Ivan, smashing an elbow into his stomach. Ivan lurched and before he could recover, was met with an uppercut to the jaw that sent him into the air. Following after him, Karth delivered three rotating kicks, sending him to back to the earth, then dashed under him just before he landed to bury both fists into his chest and stomach, tossing him to the earth. Spirit Fist faded, and Ivan didn't get up. ''I didn't kill him, but he's out cold. Get out of here.'' He spat. He then peered over the group, who didn't move. ''Unless of course you want me to knock more of you out.''
However, the X-Tremes had four members left, all willing to oblige.

''My name s Jayd Hurrikane, and you're gonna have an X-Treme fight with me, dude! The Jayd one danced around in place loosely, as if he were bursting with excitement. Then, another stepped forward. ''You beat Ivan, but Ivan is our weakest. Now you fight the Viktor and the Jayd.'' He had a calm voice, very contradicting to his partner. He crossed his arms before flinging them out to his sides, and a pair of intricate tonfa jutted out across his forearms. Karth was a bit surprised. Two? Then again, there were five, so teaming up must not have been anything new to them. He peered between the two of them. He wondered what each of them fought like. Jayd looked very rowdy, like a street fighter or a quick boxing type. Meanwhile, Viktor looked very calm and defensive. They were completely unrelated! This was going to be easier than he thought. The two stepped forward and before he knew it, Viktor was gone.
''White Lightning ATTAAAAAACK!'' Karth's stomach was suddenly smashed into with a tonfa. How did he do that!? He looked so calm! So peaceful! How could he be that fast!? Viktor vanished again, and the Jayd bounced about in the sky. ''Here it comes, dude! Jayd Storm!'' Bracing his forearm with one hand, the braced hand then opened and let loose an insane amount of ki blasts, all small however. Karth took a defensive stance and slapped away what he could, but the bludgeoning hell storm got the best of him and battered his body, giving him small bruises here and there. ''Platinum Kriss Kross!'' Karth's chest was slammed into with a tonfa, and before he could react, his back. He stumbled forward, where Viktor was already waiting. ''Jayd Rebound, Dude!'' The green one shouted, suddenly bouncing off of Viktor and burying his boot into Karth's chest. Karth bounced across the landscape before getting to his feet. Their attacks were light, but they were knocking him around like a beach ball.
He peered around for the next attack. What were they planning? It seemed Viktor was a distraction, used to disable the enemy while Jayd fought from afar. If Karth could take down Viktor, then the Jayd would be helpless up close. At the same time, Viktor's speed allowed him to lure Karth around so Jayd could blast him. If he attacked Jayd, Viktor would capitalize that. This was going to be very, very difficult. Karth charged a ki blast in each hand and hurled them at Jayd as soon as he saw him. Jayd backed off, and Viktor moved in. Hearing the ''flit'' of his movement, Karth turned sharply and kicked his ribs before grasping his collar, whirling him around, and throwing him at Jayd. He dashed after Viktor and feigned a punch at him before disappearing, then drilling into Jayd with a series of rotating kicks before turning sharply and kicking him into Viktor, sending them crashing into a tree which they knocked over. Finally! Some success! Karth used the moment to breathe.
He wouldn't have the chance for long, though.
Just seconds after Viktor got up, he was right in Karth's face.

''White Wyvern!'' He shouted. Soon, Karth was being zig-zag smashed back and forth with the tonfa at high velocity, carried higher and higher into the air. Unable to provide a defense against that kind of speed, He was helpless as Viktor leaped over his shoulders and spread his arms wing-style, smashing him back toward the earth. Sailing to the ground, he managed to land with a little pain before impact. However, the Jayd was already prepared for Karth and Viktor, and he followed up flawlessly. ''Here comes a big one, dude! Jaaaayyyyd...TSUNAMI!'' Whilring his arms around quickly, the ki soon spiraled into a green swirling mass of energy. Hurling it downward at Karth, he had little time to mount a defense. Opening his hand, an unstable energy began to crackle. Trying his hardest to keep it under control, he lifted it to the other incoming blast. ''Extinction Flare!'' The blast erupted, its poweful unstable energy pushing back the Jayd's attack. Letting it loose from his hand, Karth saw his chance and took a risk. He blasted around the two energies, flanking the Jayd. Having out-thought Viktor, he entwined his fingers and brought them down on the Jayd's back, knocking him into the mass of energy.
The gigantic explosion was all that was needed to clarify the Jayd had been taken out. Breathing raggedly, he turned just in time to feel a brush of wind, and defended against a series of Viktor's kicks, being knocked away from him by the force. ''Jayd and Ivan? You truly are a ravenous beast. But now, warrior, I'm going to cage you. I'm going to cage you, shock you unconscious, and haul you in. Then i'm going to lock you away for a long, long time.'' He turned to the Red and Blue ones, who were watching, clearly impressed. ''Sea Zero, General Fyre. I request permission to release my limiter, and deal with this personally. Ivan and Jayd have been seriously hurt, you need to get them out of here.'' ''Yeah? And what do you think you can do against him? He managed to outsmart you and take out your ranged support, and he took out Ivan. Alone, I might add. Ivan had strength. You don't have his strength, but you have speed, which he can clearly almost match.'' ''He's faster than all of us put together with his limiter released, Fyre. I'm the one in command on this mission, and i'm authorizing it. We can't let this warrior continue fighting! It would be an insult to justice!''' Karth simply blinked.
Sea Zero and General Fyre shifted their way to Ivan and Jayd, picking them up, before they both blasted off into the distance. Karth stared down Viktor. Viktor was only a little faster than him, but what about this limiter he kept talking about? Was it really going to make him that much faster?
Suddenly, Viktor let out a loud, triumphant roar as his power level soared. Karth could get no accurate reading, but it was clearly over his. He was going to have to be clever to take out Viktor now. Viktor was faster, but his attacks were meant to wear his opponent down so he could finish them off with some stronger. If Karth could endure his punishing combos, he could find openings and let him have a strong strike or two after he was finished. He switched to Eagle style, hoping that the strong singular strikes could capitalize Viktor's speed as a weakness. He assumed his fighting stance as Viktor finished powering up, his body now accompanied by a strong white glow. ''And now you face the Platinum's ultimate limit. X-Treme Viktor Mode...GO!'' Viktor suddenly just vanished into thin air, faster than before. No sounds of flitting. No nothing. All he heard was his voice now and then. ''According to my visor's readings, for every step you make, I make five. You have no chance!''
Karth suddenly turned and smashed a backfist into Viktor's helmet, crushing his visor. ''It doesn't matter if those five steps are weak enough that the one step can cover their distance in one stride, Viktor!'' He rushed him and smashed his chest, stomach, both ribs, then his stomach again with heavy punches. When he went to follow up, Viktor vanished again. ''And did I forget to mention? When any of us enter X-Treme mode, all of our moves benefit from it as well!'' He saw an image of Viktor as he struck, and put up a guard to his face. He then heard Viktor shout. ''X-Treme White Lightning!'' He smashed Karth's stomach again, then followed up with an uppercut, then a flipping smash into the ground. Karth's back whipped against the earth and he let out a gasp of pain before Viktor kicked him away, sending him sailing into a large rock.

Karth stood, loose rocks and rubble falling from his clothes. He groaned in pain, closing his eye due to dust falling into it. He stared at Viktor with one open eye as he approached slowly. ''Now do you see, warrior? Now do you see the purpose of why we're around? It's to take care of threats to the people like you. We exist to make sure you don't!'' Viktor vanished and slammed a knee into Karth's stomach, then lifted him by the hair. ''You call yourself a hero. You're nothing to an insult to everything we stand for! For that, villain, I can't just disable you. I have to dispose of you. I will make it humane. As long as you continue to fight me, I promise I will not end it easily.'' He delivered two strong punches to Karth's face. Karth growled and gathered up blood in his mouth. ''Hit me again. I dare you, Viktor.'' Sure enough, Viktor drew back and slugged him good, right into the ground. He bent down to lift him up.
Then, using that welled up blood, he spat it in right in Viktor's eye, blinding him. Viktor stumbled to the ground, trying as hard as he could to free the blood from his eye. ''If you're going to pummel me before I die and disgrace me, then i'm going to disgrace you. Stand, Viktor. No more games. We settle this like we should have in the first place.'' Viktor rose to his feet, the blood cleared from his eye. He suddenly disappeared, and Karth lunged forward with an outstretched arm, catching him by the throat. He whirled him around and threw him into the air, then dashed up at him, striking him in his chin. He raised his fists, and Viktor followed suit. They both threw punches the fastest they could until the final three.
Their fists collided with thunderous force until their arms locked at the wrist against each other. They had nothing to offer but glares. Karth's plan was working, too. If he could keep Viktor stationary, he could beat him. If he used his speed and performed hit and runs, Karth was finished. Catching a high kick from Viktor, he threw one of his own and booted him away. Viktor then copied Karth's strategy from before. He formed a white lance of energy in his hand then hurled it into the ground beneath him, using the rocks to form an ambush. Sailing on a rock, he leaped from each one to a different one, and Karth soon followed suit. With several leaps they crossed, matching each other's blows, reaching a stalemate. Then, Viktor decided to end it. He ducked down. ''Xtreme White Wyvern Attack!'' He vanished from sight and began smashing Karth through rock after rock.
At the final dash, a rock hindered Viktor's start, and Karth predicted where he was going to go. His eyes narrowed and he brought his fist up in a mighty uppercut as soon as he re-appeared, smashing him high into the air. ''And now!...'' Karth leaped up after him and grasped him by the waist. ''This ends, Viktor!'' He screamed. He began an extreme downward descent, smashing Viktor through several rocks, one after the other in a brutal descent that ended with Viktor being smashed roughly into the ground. Viktor screamed in agony before passing out from the pain. Karth wearily stood to his feet and stumbled around. He breathed raggedly before stumbling his way over to a nearby intact tree. He sat down and pressed his back against it. ''I actually did it. I took out three of their members without falling.'' He began chuckling to himself before pressing his head to the tree and closing his eyes.
The only thing left to do now was to go home, and search for more fruit tomorrow.
